I walked in and layed down, feeling lonely. I had just lost my herd in a huge forest fire, along wit my mate, and I was pregnant. I wanted someone who would love me and my unborn foal, but I didn't know if any stallion would love a foal that wasn't his own. I layed down and fell asleep, crying while I slept lightly.

King: He trots in with his petite, Arabian head held high, going along with his tail. He saw the Mare from a distance away and walked over to her slowly, making sure she was safe to be around.

I stand up and snort, seeing him hesitate. Great I thought to myself. Everyone is afraid to approach me! I got up and began to trot off heavily, not sure of the stallion

King: He watched her trot away and yelled out to her "Wait!"

I snort nd stop, eyeing him unhappily

King: He looks at her and wonders why she is giving him that weird look...

I look at him and toss my head, then graze, deciding to ignore him if he won't even get enough courage to walk towards me

King: he walked towards her and said "Hello."

I looked up and pricked my ears for a moment as I studied him. "Hello." I said, still a little wary as I had been born in a barn and I had been abused before I had run away and became free

King: "I am Thee Desperado, you can call me King though."

"Hello..." I say again. "Thee Desperado."

King: "What is your name?."

"LightningStar." I say

King: "Beautiful name" he said as he stood there.... Then he added "I see you are an Arabian also."

"Yes," I say. "Purebred, born in the deserts of Arabia and born for speed, endurance, and strength." I look him over again. "What about you?"

I wait for his answer

King: "Purebred Egyptian Arabian, born in the Arabia desert as well. Have the best bloodlines.. I have a famous father and mother."

"My parents were racers against neighboring tribes in the desert," I say

King: "Impressive, my father was a king and my Mother was a queen." Then he added "They both raced as well. But I never got the chance to race."

I snort. "Nor did I, my owners saw that I had the best bloodlines on their ranch and decided to breed me instead to a stallion I had never known. I refused and I got whipped. I ran away."

King: "Oh, i`m so sorry. I used to be owner my humans too. But i decided I just wanted to feel free."

I toss my head. "It's ok. It'll take a lot more than whips to break my spirit"

King: "Same with me. I will always be wild at heart" he said proudly.

I laugh lightly. "Well that's good," I say, starting to relax a little

King: "So......." he said awkwardly. "I`m gonna be grazing" he said and started to graze.
